Dożynki Festival 2018 in New Britain, CT

The Polonia Business Association and Little Poland are pleased to partner with the organizers of this year’s 36th annual Dozynki festival in New Britain. Join us on Saturday, August 27 from 10am – 10pm and Sunday, August 28 from 12noon – 10pm for the best in Polish cuisine, culture, entertainment, live music, dancing and ice cold beer. Lots of attractions for all age groups including kinds and tons fun for the whole family. Admission is FREE, parking is $5. Stop by and find out what has made the New Britain Dozynki one of the biggest Polish festivals on the East Coast for 36 years running! The Dozynki Festival is organized by the Polish American Council of Greater New Britain Charities, Inc., and proceeds fund scholarships for Polish American students awarded at the event each year.

Dożynki is the traditional Polish harvest celebration, giving thanks for a bountiful harvest.

New Britain is widely recognized as one of the key centers of Polish culture in the United States, and people travel from across Connecticut and the larger region to attend cultural events in New Britain and visit Little Poland on Broad Street.
