Polonium Foundation is an independent NGO that unlocks the potential of Polish scientific diaspora.
We organise two annual Science: Polish Perspectives (SPP) conferences in Cambridge/Oxford, UK, and in Berlin. The more local satellite events called SPP Meetups are being organised in different forms all over the world. By bringing SPP events to this community, we are hoping to connect its members and give them a platform for discussion with academia, policy makers and industry in Poland.
To better understand the community we connect, we launched a research study called "First insight into the Polish scientific diaspora". We are conducting it to evaluate the potential and challenges faced by Poles working abroad as scientists. We're also actively engaged in science diplomacy. We publish policy recommendation reports and promote research of Polish scientific institutions.
We are actively looking for partner institutions, collaborators and volunteers to join us on our journey!
