Polish Presidential Couple Started an Official Visit to the White House

President Duda was asked by journalists in Bucharest, where he was participating in the first day of the Three Seas Initiative summit, about what he would like to hear during the meeting with President Donald Trump, scheduled for Tuesday, including in the context of the Three Seas Initiative. 

"I think that President Trump will want to hear from me about what happened today, because he was very interested in the Three Seas Initiative and, after all, he attended the Three Seas summit in Warsaw last year precisely because he liked very much that we are cooperating with each other, that we are together, that we are showing unity and that there are opportunities for development," said Andrzej Duda. 

Krzysztof Szczerski, Andrzej Duda's chief aide, said on Monday, that apart from the face-to-face meeting of the two Presidents at the White House, there will also be a meeting of two delegations.  On behalf of the US, it will also be attended by US Vice-President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. 

– This will be a big, top-level US delegation, composed not only of the President but also the vice-president, with whom the Polish head of state will meet – minister Szczerski said. 

Both Presidential couples will also meet, prior to a joint press conference of Presidents Duda and Trump.
