Manchester City are a favorite in the Champions League

There was always a consensus that Manchester City would be favorites for the 2018/2018 Premier League season. Indeed, they have already beaten the likes of Liverpool at home and Chelsea away in very impressive wins. However, one of the big question marks regarding the City side would be regarding how their form would hold up in Europe. 10-19-2017 00:02

The Lessons from USA’s Failure to Qualify for the World Cup

The match against Trinidad and Tobago was supposed to be a formality for the United States men’s national team to qualify for the World Cup next summer. The US needed to lose, and several other results to happen to lose any chance to qualify for the prestigious tournament. Yet, these possible outcomes all occurred, which subsequently dropped the USMNT outside of competing all together. The extremely poor performance and result came only after the team’s dominating win over Panama only several days prior. Ultimately, there was plenty of blow back and reflection done on what went wrong in that horrible performance. 10-13-2017 03:00

Carlo Ancelotti: An Unfortunate but Necessary Dismissal

Out of all the repercussions to come out of the second week of Champions League play, Ancelotti’s dismissal from Bayern Munich is the most damning. The Italian was dismissed less than 24 hours after Bayern Munich’s 3-0 capitulation against Paris Saint Germain. Although the season is quite young, Ancelotti has also faltered in the Bundesliga at almost an alarming rate. Having already dropped 5 points in a month of play, Bayern Munich have handed their rivals, Borussia Dortmund with a considerable lead of said 5 points at the summit of the league. 09-30-2017 00:00
