USA: Become a Clinical Medical Administrative Assistant

Study on CAMPUS!     April 20, 2017

This course covers medical terminology and includes the basics of anatomy and physiology, medical history, examination procedures, and medical reports. The course also looks into terminology related to diseases, diagnostic tests, and treatment of body systems. This course also includes medical office procedures, medical billing and coding, collecting, third party reimbursement, credit arrangements, including performing EKG, EHR, and phlebotomy in the clinic or hospital.

The curriculum is 600 hours and is divided into eleven courses. The full-time program is taught 4 days per week and is completed in 7.5 months, including a month of internship. Career Development will be incorporated on the 6th month of the program.
