Exhibit of the Legendary Polish Illustrator Maria Orłowska-Gabryś in Clark

Skulski Art Gallery of the Polish Cultural Foundation in Clark, New Jersey is proud to present the exhibit of the legendary Polish illustrator Maria Orłowska-Gabryś from 29 September to 27 November 2017.

The opening reception will take place on Friday, 29 September, 2017, 8:00pm - 10:30pm

Maria Orłowska-Gabryś
(1925-1988)

One of the most famous Polish illustrators. Her unique workshop is characterized by its expressiveness, realism, extraordinary attention to even the smallest details of the drawing. Maria Orłowska-Gabryś has illustrated more than a hundred books, including the Cukiernię pod Pierożkiem z Wiśniami Clare Compton, Bajarka opowiada Marii Niklewiczowej, Czarną owieczkę oraz Reksia i Pucka Jana Grabowskiego, Chłopców z Placu Broni Ferenca Molnára...
