20th International Chopin & Friends Festival presents New Vision: Images of Sound
Exhibition: Aneta Kosin - Realizations (2005-2018)
Curator: Kasia Gumpert
Aneta Kosin - a well-known and respected artist. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts: Graphic Design and Painting Department in Łódź, Poland. She is currently enrolled in PhD program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland. She has been active on the art scene over 15 years and exhibited all over the word with individual and group poster exhibitions. Kosin's posters are in the collection of the Poster Museum in Wilanów, Poland; Museum of the Cinematography and the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland and also in the collections of museums in France and Mexico.
In November 2018, the 20th International Chopin & Friends “New Vision”Festival has a pleasure to invite and introduce Aneta Kosin's posters concerning the society, culture and music. This is her first exhibition, Realizations (2005-2018) in the United States at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York during 20th Chopin and Friends Festival.

Music Program:
This year, the Four Corners Ensemble is invited to perform at the "New Vision" Concert during the festival at the beautiful concert hall of Polish Consulate General in New York City on November 16th. In addition to the three winning pieces selected from the “New Vision” Composition Competition, Four Corners will present two mini concertos by Shuying Li for flutist Erika Boyse, and clarinetist Joshua Anderson; as well as new works written for Four Corners by Polish composers Marcel Chyrzynski - Composer - Official Site and Jakub Polaczyk.
