Polish Space Night in Washington DC

Last night, Ambassador Piotr Wilczek hosted representatives of the Polish space industry and participants of the 70th International Astronautical Congress at his Residence for Polish Space Night, an evening that showcased the achievements and potential of Poland’s space sector.
Guests of honor included Michał Szaniawski, President of the Polish Space Agency; Steve Jurczyk, Associate Administrator of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration; George Zamka, US astronaut of Polish heritage and former commander of the space shuttle “Endeavor”; and Julita Wilczek, Deputy Director of Poland’s Innovation Department of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology.
Representatives of the numerous Polish firms in attendance gave short presentations on their respective successes, after which members of the audiences were given the opportunity to engage in further conversation over dinner. A big thank you to all of our guests for their support!
